Jim Gooden proudly serves as Lead Pastor of Real Life Church. He previously served Real Life Church as Executive and Creative Arts Pastor and has extensive experience in pastoral ministry, strategic planning, worship leading, preaching, teaching, ministry team-building, and coaching. Pastor Jim is a graduate of North Central University with a degree in Pastoral Studies, as well as a masters in strategic leadership. Pastor Jim also has a significant "shoe problem," but Jesus is working on his heart. Feel free to take a pair and see if he notices.

Jim and Beth are passionate about seeing people have a genuine encounter with God's presence, and believes that every person who is a follower of Christ must 1) be discipled, and 2) have a personal ministry.

Jim, Beth, and their two sons currently reside in Brooklyn Center, MN.
